“왜 전시장에 걸린 그림만 봐야 하는가?”라는 의문과 함께 시작된 작업은 '어린 시절 즐겁게 그림을 그리던 체험이 미술의 본질'이라는 생각과 혼합되어 '완성된 그림'이 아닌, '완성 되어지는 회화 과정'을 시연하는 공연 형태의 무대예술로 탄생시켰다. '회화', '그림' 이라는 언어, 민족, 세대를 초월하는 소재를 이용하여 그림이 완성되는 과정을 목격하는 체험을 통하여 소통을 통한 즐거움과 배움을 동시에 전달하는 콘셉트의 < 오리지널 드로잉쇼 >는 세계인이 함께 즐길 대한민국 대표 공연으로써 성장할 충분한 가능성을 지녔음은 물론, 실제로 '드료잉쇼'의 탄생지인 한국은 물론, 일본에서 성장세를 보이며, 2011년에는 시드니 대학교의 Seymour Centre 에서 공연된 < Soul of Seoul >에서의 퍼포먼스를 통해 '드로잉쇼'의 존재를 호주 관객에게 알렸다.
The work, which began with the question, "Why do we have to see only the paintings in the exhibition hall?" was mixed with the idea that the experience of painting happily in childhood is the essence of art, and was born as a stage art in the form of a performance that demonstrates the "conversation process that is completed" rather than a "completed painting." The concept of "original drawing show", which conveys joy and learning through communication through the experience of witnessing the completion of the painting using the language of "conversation" and "picture", "ethnicity" and generational materials, not only had enough potential to grow as a representative performance in Korea that people around the world would enjoy together, but also in Japan, the birthplace of the "Drawing Show", and in 2011, the "Soul of Seoul", performed at Sydney University's Seymour Centre, announced the existence of the "Drawing Show" to Australian audiences.
